Balearic Islands: Ibiza and Formentera, how you don’t expect it!

Spending most of the year counting down to summer, when you realise it is over. Not in my mind though. I keep thinking about holiday all the time.

This summer, we opted for Ibiza and Formentera at the end of June, and, although for my second time, it did not disappoint me. I discovered new “Calette” and wild beaches, places so magic and quiet where can admire the sunset.

Planning the trip, sometimes, takes longer. Said and done! We’ve already landed in Ibiza, discovering the island by car. In the morning just the time to grab an artesana, soft local brioche, and ready for the most beautiful beaches. Likely not far from where we stayed, in St Antoni De Portemary.

Eivissa town, deserves a stop. You can taste tapas alongside the small streets with a “copa de sangria”, or get lost looking around the handmade jewellery shops inside the Old Castle. Such a vibrant atmosphere.

A new song in the headphones, and we were on the ferry in the direction of Formentera, the smallest Spain’s Balearic islands.

Cycling around looking for the stunning beaches, stopping and enjoy the scenary drinking a sunset moijto. Such a dream! Playa de Ses Illetes definitely deserves a stop: Caribbean sea and white sands make you live a day dream.

You say pizza.. I say Yes🍕

When I firstly moved to Uk, I missed a lot my  “Pizzeria “, a place where I used to have pizza takeaway on Saturday night.  A real treat 🙂

By time, I had chance to discover nice places around Dorset.  Last week I have been with Bournemouth Bloggers at The Stable in Bournemouth for  the Pizza School Event. It is a company born in 2009 , known for the good pizzas and big choice of ciders.

I went for sparkling cider, following the barman advice. It was great seeing how Chef Campbell made the tomato sauce from scratch and, above all, the fact they use fresh organic ingredients and all is daily-made.

The fun part was filling the pizza base; not so easy spreading the right amount of tomato sauce and be precise. Looking at the result, I didn’t risk much: mine came out to be a “Diavola Variegata.”I guarantee by Italian. 🙂

Yesterday I was at Love Your Skin Event , at  Body Shop in Bournemouth. It was fun and interesting know  other girls blogging with so much passion, all around Dorset.

I had chance to try new products they will be launching soon and        discover the promotion for St Valentine.  It was good test all make up products available.

My attention was captured by The Youth Concentrate Sheet Mask, enriched with 3 plant stem cells even from My Lovely Italy.                   I Can not wait to try it 🙂

Unaspected Monday off!                I decided to take time for myself. Here we are! Metallic Rosy Sand, a jolly eyeshadow 🔝

“You must try it”, my friend suggested me.

So my love for this colour eyeshadow, by Kiko Milano, started. I tried so many shades, but my best one remains number 12, Metallic Rosy Sand. It is fantastic! I use it as base for my eye make-up, as a light shade to create a smokie or with water to reinforce the pigments.

I must confess, even in combination with a common blush, it gives a long lasting bright touch to your cheeks! 😚

Beauty Afternoon !

Hi Guys! Full day for me; after a busy week gone in a flash. The sun is shining, here in Bournemouth, and seems matching perfectly with this bank holiday weekend.  I am not very good to follow my diary. As expected, shopping got better on me. My hands can not hold more bags 🙂
